**UPDATE** In 2009, the
forests won!! Greenpeace and Kimberly-Clark are moving away from conflict to a new collaborative relationship to further promote
forest conservation, responsible forest management, and the use of recycled fiber for the manufacture of tissue products.
This work and dedication reached a successful conclusion with Kimberly-Clark’s release of the strongest paper policy by one of the world’s top three tissue product manufacturers. Environmart was proud to be a part of Greenpeace's Friendly Forest campaign,
boycotting Kimberly-Clark paper products because of their reliance on ancient Boreal forest. This ad ran in the New York Times
in August of 2006.
