 | Mud Block Print Cotton Voile Scarf

These 100% Cotton Voile Scarves are made using the agent technique of mud blocking printing or "dabu"
in Rajasthan, India. The color are natural dyes of indigo, pomegranate, palm sugar and other minerals. Available in three
colors: Green, Blue, and Orange.About Mud Block Printing: First, the wood blocks to be used for printing are carved by hand
with ornate patterns. These blocks are dipped into dyes and then printed on the fabric. The second stage is printing uses
the mud print, or "dabu" resist. This resist is a mixture of river bed clay, slaked lime, tree gum and wheat powder.
The resist covers the previously printed block so that when the entire fabric is dipped into another dye (for example Indigo)
everything except the original block print gets colored. When the fabric is dried and washed, the pattern revealed is an indigo

and "foot loom" weaving in the Central Highlands of Guatemala. Most indigenous Maya towns in Guatemala have their
own unique weaving patterns and colors. These patterns represent the towns in which they live, and the residents will even
weave their clothing using this pattern and design. The Flori bag is made by two different towns which are close to each
other. San Juan and Solola. Why not carry a little bit of this ancient colorful culture... The colorful weaving that adorns
the bags flap, sides and strap, was made on the Back Strap loom. The back and inside front of the Flori Bag is black cotton,
